Disha Patani and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Malang had hit the theatres a year ago. The movie had become a box office success in no time, with an intriguing story line. As the movie celebrates its first anniversary today, the diva opened up on her experience with the film.

Disha shares, “It’s been one year to Malang already, time definitely flies. I have had a blast shooting for this film, the message was to unleash the madness and we absolutely did. The film had a bit of everything from action, drama, romance and thrill.”

She also added, “My character demanded quite a bit physically but I am a water baby and I thoroughly enjoyed performing water sports so that was my favourite part of the whole shoot. ‘Humraah’ has become my favourite road trip song now. I couldn’t have asked for a better team than Mohit sir, Aditya, Anil sir and Kunal. They made the shoot experience worth it. ”

The film became a superhit not only in the box office but also on digital streaming platforms. Disha’s searing hot and new avatar in the film inspired many people’s fashion choices. Even Aditya and Disha’s on-screen chemistry was well received by the audience.

Disha is once again working with Mohit Suri for ‘Ek Villain 2’. She will also be seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan and Randeep Hooda for ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’
