The makers of the popular ‘Dhoom’ franchise are planning its next instalment and are all set to take it a notch up by introducing a female villain. All eyes are apparently on Deepika Padukone to headline the fourth part of the series.

According to a report in Filmfare, the makers of the ‘Dhoom 4’ have reportedly approached Deepika for the role. Although the actress is more than excited to take up the challenge, she has to get her dates sorted before she signs the dotted lines.

‘Dhoom’ series are known for their stylish chase sequences and exotic locations. Apart from the fixed cast of Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, it started off first with John Abraham in the first instalment, Hrithik Roshan in the second and Aamir Khan in the third. It would be really interesting to have a female antagonist in the franchise.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in the lead roles.

Apart from this, she also has Shakun Batra’s untitled next co-starring Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles. Deepika is also a part of Kabir Khan’s ‘’83’ where she will be reuniting with her husband Ranveer Singh on screen. She is also co-producing the movie.

The gorgeous actress has also been roped in for Nag Ashwin’s untitled next with South superstar Prabhas and she will also be starring opposite Hrithik Roshan for the first time in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’.

Deepika will also be playing the role of Draupadi in upcoming film, ‘Mahabharat’.
