watch dogs legion: Watch Dogs Legion to get cross-platform, cross-generation support – Times of India


Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs Legion will get cross-platform and cross-generation support in the future. It was confirmed by Watch Dogs Legion developers on Twitter, in response to a user’s request for cross-generation support. As per the developers, cross-platform and cross-gen support is currently in the works and will be added later to the game as a part of an update.

Cross-platform and cross-gen gameplay means more number of players would be able to join in once the online mode goes live. The online mode of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs Legion was expected to launch on March 9 but it has been delayed. The online mode comes as a free update to all players on PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store) and Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia and Ubisoft+. It brings a number of multiplayer modes to the game, which include open world co-op and Tactical Ops. The mode will also add some PvP deathmatch action for upto 8 players.
Watch Dogs Legion is set in a dystopian London where the city has fallen in the hands of multiple groups with nefarious agendas and anarchy rules. You can play as anyone in the city as a member of The Resistance, a group made up of Londoners who want to take their city back from the hold of the people controlling the city. As with previous Watch Dogs games, this one too features hacking that can be employed to rule
