Vivo X60 series to launch globally on March 22: Expected price and specs – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Vivo has revealed that it will launch its latest X60 series of smartphones globally on March 22. The company has also tweeted from its India handle that it will launch the smartphone soon. So, it is expected that the company will launch the smartphone at the same time in India.

The Vivo X60 series consists of three smartphones Vivo X60, X60 Pro and X60 Pro+. It is expected that the company might price the Vivo X Pro+ for Rs 54,500, while the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are said to be priced at Rs 39,500 and Rs 50,900 respectively. Vivo X60 Pro+ is also the first smartphone of the company to come with a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
The company has also created a new landing page on its official website. The page shows the rear panel of the smartphone which consists of a triple rear camera setup and the Zeiss logo.
Vivo X60 Pro+ specifications
Vivo X60 Pro+ is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with Adreno 660 GPU. The smartphone comes with a 6.56-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2376 pixel resolution and a 19.8:9 aspect ratio. The handset offers a display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of OriginOS 1.0. Vivo X60 Pro+ offers dual SIM support and comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In the camera department, Vivo X60 Pro+ sports a quad-rear camera setup which comprises of 50MP main Sensor with f/1.57 aperture, 48MP ultra-wide angle lens with Sony sensor, 32MP portrait camera with f/2.08 aperture and 8MP periscope camera with f/3.4 aperture. The smartphone offers 60x digital zoom and support for 8K video recording. The front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.45 aperture.
The Vivo X60 Pro+ packs 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The smartphone is backed by a 4200mAh battery with 55W fast charging support.

The duo is the first to be powered by Samsung’s 2.8GHz octa-core Exynos 1080 processor. Both the smartphones run Android 11 operating system topped with OriginOS custom UI.
Vivo X60 and X60 Pro come with a 6.56-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2376 pixel resolution.
The smartphones come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphones are backed by a 4300mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
The devices sport a quad-rear camera setup which consists of a 48MP main sensor with f/1.48 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 13MP 50mm portrait camera with f/2.46 aperture, 8MP periscope camera with f/3.4 aperture. The device’s 32MP selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture.
