Vivo S9e specs tipped online, expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor – Times of India


Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is soon going to launch a new smartphone in its home country, called Vivo S9e as the specs of the handset have made an appearance on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging website. Given the name, the device is expected to be a variant of the Vivo S9 smartphone that is also expected to be launched in March.
As per online reports, the Vivo S9e is said to offer a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a water drop notch to house the selfie camera. The handset is expected to offer a 90Hz refresh rate.
In terms of hardware, the device is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC and pack a 4100mAh battery. Buyers are also likely to get 33W fast charge support with this device. Two RAM models offering 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM are expected to be launched.
For imaging duties, the Vivo S9e is expected to house a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP ultra-wide-angle primary sensor. For selfies, it is said to house a 32-megapixel Samsung GD1 sensor.
As mentioned, the handset is expected to be a variant of the Vivo S9, which is going to be launched in China on March 3. This handset is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor, making it 5G ready.
It remains to be seen which handsets will make their way to India later on.
