Vivo S9 5G: Vivo S9 5G appears on 3C certification site, may launch soon – Times of India
Vivo is reportedly gearing up to expand its S series smartphone range with the launch of Vivo S9. The handset has allegedly appeared on 3C certification website with model number V2072A.
As the name suggests, Vivo S9 5G will be a 5G phone. The listing says that the handset will be equipped with a 33watt fast charger. It is tipped to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset.
A leakster recently tipped that the smartphone may come equipped with a full HD OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It further said Vivo S9 5G may feature a 44MP camera at the front for selfies.
The handset is rumoured to pack up to 12GB of RAM. Other expected specifications of the phone are Android 11 operating system and a 4000mAh battery.
The smartphone may come with a water drop notch display housing the front camera. Vivo S9 5G may offer a 64MP primary camera at the back.
Meanwhile, Vivo has launched Vivo S7t 5G phone in China. It comes with a 6.44-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 820 octa-core processor. The handset may pack 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB and 256GB internal storage capacity.
It is a mid-range phone which comes with a starting price of CNY 2,698 (approx. Rs 30,000). Vivo S7t 5G comes with dual SIM support and runs on the company’s own OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11 operating system.
