Virat Kohli welcomed his daughter Vamika into this world with his wife Anushka Sharma last earlier this year and the couple has been on cloud nine ever since. The cricketer recently opened up about his thoughts on becoming a father and missing out on his matches.

Talking to Times Now, Virat reportedly said that he cannot compare the thrill of playing and winning a match to the happiness that he has experienced after becoming a dad. According to the cricketer, becoming a father has been and will remain the greatest moment of his life. He also added that it is something that has to be experienced to understand what he is saying. Virat also went on to say that the connection to the team does not go away in any situation, especially when you’ve given everything for the team.

Virat and Anushka announced that they are expecting their first baby together during the lockdown last year. The actress was seen flaunting her baby bump in style whenever she stepped out for photoshoots and other works.

After the birth of their angel, the couple requested the paparazzi to respect their privacy and not try to click pictures of their newborn.

On the work front, Anushka was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
