Fashion designer Vikram Phadnis is the latest celebrity to have tested positive for Covid-19. He took to his Instagram stories and confirmed the news to his fans and followers.

He wrote, “I’ve tested positive for COVID and would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest. I am taking every precaution and have isolated myself at home”.

Recently, several Bollywood celebrities tested positive for Covid-19. This week, Aamir Khan’s spokesperson had confirmed that the actor was in quarantine due to Covid, “Mr Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols, and he’s doing fine.” Milind Soman, R Madhavan, Kartik Aaryan, and Ranbir Kapoor are a few other celebs to have also been infected with the virus.

And while infections are on the rise, a lot of celebrities have also taken the first jab of the Covid-19 vaccine. Recently, Salman Khan took the first dose and shared it on Twitter, “Took my first dose of vaccine today.”

After taking his first jab of Covid-19 vaccine, Sanjay Dutt had shared, “Received my first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine today at the BKC vaccine centre. I want to congratulate Dr Dhere and his entire team for doing such a wonderful job! I have so much love & respect for them and their hard work. Jai Hind.”
