Toolkit case: 3 drop pre-arrest bail applications | India News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Two activists and a lawyer facing the toolkit case, which also involves activist Disha Ravi, on Monday withdrew their anticipatory bail applications whereas the Delhi police said it will give a seven-day advance notice in case it felt their arrest was “imminent and unavoidable”, reports Aamir Khan.
The conclusion was arrived at after counsels of Shantanu Muluk, Subham Kar Chaudhuri and Nikita Jacob argued for anticipatory bail. “The counsels said to be fair to probe agency, they’re inclined to withdraw the application with subject to condition that if the agency finds arrest imminent and unavoidable, then seven working days’ advance notice shall be served on accused,” additional sessions judge Dharmender Rana noted.
