Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma welcomed a baby girl on January 11. While the couple is currently spending quality time at home with their little girl, we came across a throwback interview of Virat where he spilled the beans on his first-ever meeting with wife Anushka.

Talking about his first interaction with the ‘Zero’ actress, the Indian cricketer had said that they met on the sets of a commercial shoot in which they featured in the same frame. Furthermore, Virat even revealed he was so nervous that he cracked a joke in front of Anushka but after a few moments he realised that it wasn’t funny at all.

Virat had taken to social media to announce the arrival of their daughter by sharing a statement which read as “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time,” Kohli tweeted.

Virat even changed his Twitter bio to “A proud husband and father” post his daughter’s birth. Meanwhile, the couple is yet to reveal the name of their baby girl.
