Throwback: When Rajiv Kapoor had opened up on being Raj Kapoor’s youngest son and sibling rivalry – Times of India
Members of the Kapoor clan have gathered in Chembur to bid him farewell, and Bollywood is also mourning his loss. Meanwhile, fans have been sharing adorable posts in memory of the late actor and we came across a throwback video of the Kapoor brothers Rishi and Rajiv from Simi Garewal‘s chat show, where they spoke about their personal and professional experiences.
Talking about being the youngest in the house, Rajiv had said, “I was loved and cared for, but was definitely pushed around like a football. When you are the youngest, you just have to listen to everybody and everything as the blame ultimately gets passed onto you”.
When quizzed about sibling rivalry, Rajiv had added, “No, there wasn’t any because of all the love, affection, and upbringing of our parents. My biggest support has been my brothers. They have given me everything I wanted and left no stone unturned for me.”
The late actor had even talked about his directorial debut and learning from his father. “I always wanted to be a director and I became an actor by chance as I was the last son of Raj Kapoor. I didn’t work with him in the first film as he wanted me to also go out and do a film by myself and not given everything on the platter because of his name,” he had shared.
