This may be the first look at OnePlus Watch – Times of India


OnePlus will launch its first smartwatch on March 23 along with OnePlus 9 series phones. Ahead of the official release, an image of the OnePlus Watch has appeared online, giving the first glimpse of the upcoming smartwatch.
Leakster Unbox Therapy, in collaboration with OnePlus has shared an image of OnePlus Watch on microblogging site Twitter. The tweet shows the smartwatch featuring a circular design with slim bezels on the display.

On the right side of the device can be seen two buttons. One of them has the OnePlus name engraved on it. The smartwatch can be seen sporting a Black rubber band. But it is likely that there will be other colour band options as well.
Design wise, OnePlus Watch resembles the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. Whether it is intentional or not, it is yet not clear.
The upcoming smartwatch has also been teased on OnePlus social media platforms. Company’s CEO Pete Lau has shared a two-second video clip on Twitter, which hints at IP68 water resistance.
In a forum post announcing the launch date of the smartwatch, he said that the device will not run on Google’ WearOS. Instead, it will come with an RTOS-based operating system.
He also said that the OnePlus Watch will carry an affordable price tag. The smartwatch will offer “best-in-class experience at an affordable price point,” he wrote in the post.
In another post on Twitter, OnePlus has revealed that the smartwatch will be equipped with a heart-rate monitor, steps count and more.
