This is how Apple CEO Tim Cook likes to start his day – Times of India

Everyone has a morning routine which they like to stick to. Some are early risers while others like to begin their day a bit late. Wondering how the CEO of Apple likes to start his day? Tim Cook in an interview spoke about what kind of daily routine he has and how he ideally likes to start his day. In an interview with People magazine, Cook said that he is an early riser and gets up at 4 am every day. The first app he opens on his iPhone is the Apple News app.
Cook said that there are two things that he can’t live without — his iPhone and coffee. Not a surprise to find iPhone in there, right?
The Apple CEO also spoke about the challenges of working throughout the pandemic. Not having people coming to offices was a challenge for all companies, including Apple. Cook said that he believes that Apple employees will be back in office soon. “My gut says that, for us, it’s still very important to physically be in touch with one another because collaboration isn’t always a planned activity.”
He further said that, “Innovation isn’t always a planned activity. It’s bumping into each other over the course of the day and advancing an idea that you just had. And you really need to be together to do that.”
In the interview Cook also said that Apple has realised that for some things “that are perfectly great to do virtually across Zoom or WebEx, whatever, or FaceTime, whatever you might have.”
However, he said he is excited for the return of Apple employees to Apple Park. “Largely, I think that we’re going to be back at work again, and I can’t wait until that happens.”
