Samsung recently extended security update duration for its Galaxy devices and now has given even more clarity on how the company plans to offer regular updates to its devices.
Till now, Samsung listed three categories when it comes to the frequency in which the security updates are expected to be rolled out. These are “monthly,” “quarterly,” and “other regular.”
Now, the company has renamed the last category to “biannual,” giving a clearer indication.
It has listed about 35 products in the new section and mostly includes devices from the year 2017 and 2018.
