TCL launches first Android 11 smart TV and smart AC range in India – Times of India


NEW DELHI: TCL has expanded its smart TV lineup with the launch of its first Android 11. Smart TV P725 is the first of the company to come equipped with an external video camera. The smart TV comes in four screen sizes — 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch priced at Rs 41,990, Rs 56,990, Rs 62,990 and Rs 89,990 respectively.
The smart TV comes with a magnetically affixed video camera. Users can use Google Duo to video call their friends and family. The TV comes with support for Google Assistant and users can give voice commands to perform various functions like switch channels, set reminders, and explore streaming services.
TCL P725 is powered by Dolby Vision and also supports Dolby Atmos which promise to offer multidimensional sound effects.
Along with the new smart TV, TCL has also launched its Healthy Smart Ac Ocarina series in the country. The smart TV comes with B.I.G Care & UVC Sterilization Pro that can remove more than 98.66% of bacteria.
The new range of air conditioners includes Gentle Breeze, B.I.G Care & UVC Sterilization Pro, which has a bacteria eliminating rate of more than 98.66%.
The new smart AC range also comes with a bipolar iconic generator built in the air outlet which is designed to generate large volumes of plasma, atoms and strong oxidization substances to eliminate bacteria and virus from the air. The UVC sterilization, on the other hand, emits radiation (240nm-280nm) to kill the bacteria by damaging their protein and DNA.
The smart AC can be controlled via the TCL Home app and it comes with voice control functionality. The company claims that the AC can save up to 60% of energy and comes with a 5 year warranty on PCB and 10 years on compressor. The price of the smart AC range starts at Rs 33,990.
