Tamil Nadu defeated Baroda by seven wickets in the final of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy to clinch the title on Sunday. Manimaran Siddharth, playing his first game of the season, was the star for Tamil Nadu as he picked up four wickets in his four-over spell. Chasing 121 runs for the win, the Dinesh Karthik-led side got over the line with two overs to spare.
