Japanese tech giant Sony has announced its next-gen VR system for the PlayStation 5. As per Sony, compared with the PS4 VR, the next-gen VR system will enhance “everything from resolution and field of view to tracking and input” and enable a high-fidelity visual experience. It will connect to the PlayStation 5 with a single cord.
The company said in a blog post that with the new headset, players will “feel an even greater sense of presence and become even more immersed in their game worlds”. The controller that comes with the new VR system will include some of the key features of the Dual Sense controller. The company has focussed on “great ergonomics” with the new VR controller.
The next-gen VR system, however, won’t launch this year. Some of the games that have been confirmed for the PS VR are After The Fall, Humanity and Sniper Elite VR. Apart from these details, Sony hasn’t divulged anything else about the upcoming next-gen VR system for now.
