Shooting World Cup: Gold, silver, bronze for India in 25m pistol women | More sports News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: India’s Chinki Yadav, Rahi Sarnobat and Manu Bhaker, all Tokyo Olympics quota holders, produced magical shooting to win gold, silver and bronze, respectively, in the women’s 25m pistol event at the ongoing ISSF World Cup at the Karni Singh Shooting Range here on Wednesday.
In fact, a shoot-off between Chinki and Rahi decided the gold-silver medal after the two Madhya Pradesh shooters were locked at 32 points-each after the end of their respective series. In the shoot-off Chinki got four of her five shots on the target while Rahi could manage to hit three.

Earlier, Manu settled for bronze after another shoot-off with Rahi for the bronze medal match. Both Rahi and Manu hit four of their respective five targets but Rahi qualified for the gold-silver medal round on the 29-28 aggregate in her favour.
It’s for the first time that three Indian shooters finished on the top of the podium at the shooting World Cup.
