Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who had been working furtively on the film to meet its release date of July 30, tested positive for Covid-19 recently. The shooting has reportedly been stalled and the entire cast and crew has undergone tests. Alia, however, tested negative. Previously, the film’s shoot had been put on hold due to the lockdown and the elaborate sets of Kamathipura, erected at Filmcity, stood idle for months.
