Samsung M31s gets Android 11 update in India – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Samsung recently started rolling out an Android 11 update for its Galaxy A50 smartphone. Now the company has added another smartphone to the list. The tech giant has now released Android 11 update for its Galaxy M31s smartphone.
This is the third M-series smartphone to receive Android 11 update as the company has already rolled out the update on Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M51 smartphones.
The update comes with firmware version M317FXXU2CUB1 and weighs 1.93GB in size. The Android 11 update also brings Samsung’s latest One UI 3.1 and security patch for the month of February 2021 to the smartphone.
After the latest software update, the Samsung Galaxy M31s users will be able to experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
Samsung Galaxy M31s specifications
Samsung Galaxy M31s is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM. The smartphone packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy M31s offer dual SIM support and come equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution.
The mid-range smartphone features a quad-rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 12MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone houses a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy M31s is backed by a 6,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
