Samsung launches new range of single door refrigerators, price starts at Rs 17,990 – Times of India


Electronics brand Samsung has expanded its range of single door refrigerators in India. The company’s 2021 line-up of single door refrigerators come with Digi-Touch Cool 5-in-1 technology.
The new series comes with features like Blackout notification, Eco Mode and digital control temperature setting.
Price and availability
The new refrigerator range is priced at Rs 17,990 onwards. It will be available in four floral patterns – Delight, Blossom, Marble White and Twirl. The refrigerators can be purchased via Samsung’s online store along with offline retail stores across the country from today onwards.
Specs
Samsung’s 2021 single door refrigerators come in two storage capacities – 198 litres and 225 litres. Buyers will get a 10-year warranty on the compressor and digital inverter technology with stabilizer free operations.
The refrigerators will be equipped with advanced temperature control settings. Users can regulate the temperature of the refrigerators depending on the seasonal changes using different levels of temperature points.
The new refrigerators feature a Power Cool button. Samsung says that the button can be used for prompt cooling. It is said to provide up to 53% faster ice making and 33% faster cooling.
Using the Eco Mode function, one can adjust the refrigerator’s temperature to approximately 6 degrees Celsius. The function will come in handy during winters, nights and when high-grade cooling is not required. It can help save up to 28% of energy.
Other features that come with the new refrigerators are Blackout notification and e-Defrost. The former will send notification as flickering lights in case the refrigerator temperature rises above 9°C due to a power outage. The built-in e-defrost feature will enable users to defrost the freezer by pressing the e-defrost button for 3 seconds.
The new range of refrigerators come with a veg box having 1.5-litre capacity and new FreshMax with Bottle Guard.
