Samsung launches high-resolution monitors lineup for 2021 – Times of India


South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched its new lineup of 2021 high-resolution monitors.
In the lineup, Samsung has launched three series — the S8, S7 and S6 and a total of 12 monitors.
Samsung claims that each monitor offers vivid and vibrant images that are enhanced by HDR 10 technology and offer 178-degree wide viewing angle.
Also, all the monitors offer Intelligent Eye Care certified from TÜV Rheinland. The Adaptive Picture eye care technology is said to optimise picture quality for any viewing environment by automatically adjusting brightness and colour temperature in response to room conditions. They also come with a dedicated special eye-saver mode to reduce blue light emissions.
The S8 series from the Samsung 2021 lineup offers Ultra-High Definition (UHD) resolution and is available in 27- and 32-inch options. It offers 99% sRGB colour gamut. This series is capable of 10Gbps data transmission through its USB-C type port. Connectivity ports include USB 3.0 and a USB hub.
It boasts of a flat borderless design and comes accompanied by a slim metal stand and narrow depth.
As for the S7 series, there are also 27- and 32-inch sized UHD resolution monitors.
Lastly, the S6 series includes 34-, 32-, 27- and 24-inch sized monitors with QHD resolution. They come with features like PBP (Picture By Picture) and PIP (Picture In Picture).
More details on the price and availability front are yet to be revealed by the company.
