Samsung is all set to expand its Galaxy M series smartphone range in India today. The company will unveil the Galaxy M12 phone via an online event.
The handset will succeed the Galaxy M11. Samsung Galaxy M12 is expected to be a budget category phone priced below Rs 15,000.

The upcoming handset is already listed on e-commerce platform Amazon. While this suggests that the phone will be available via the e-tailer’s site, the Amazon page also reveals key specs of the Galaxy M12.
As per the Amazon listing page, the smartphone will come with a 6.5-inch (16.55cm) Infinity-V display. The handset is teased to offer a refresh rate of 90Hz.
A phone’s refresh rate is the number of times the display refreshes every second. More refresh rate traditionally means better gaming experience but it also draws more power from the battery.
Amazon webpage says that the handset will be powered by Samsung’s own 8nm Exynos processor. Thedevice will be backed by a 6,000mAh battery which the company says can last a day.
For imaging duties, the handset will be equipped with a quad camera system at the back. Samsung Galaxy M11may offer a 48MP primary lens with GM2 sensor.
