Samsung Galaxy A82 may come with a 64MP Sony sensor, claims report – Times of India

Samsung has just launched two smartphones in the Galaxy A series — Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 — and information about the next expected Galaxy A series smartphone has already started pouring in.
According to a report by GalaxyClub, the next Galaxy smartphone — Galaxy A82 — will house a 64MP Sony sensor instead of Samsung’s ISOCELL GW1 sensor, which is present in the recently launched Galaxy A52 and A72 smartphones.
The report predicts the Galaxy A82 to use the IMX686 sensor, which was launched in 2019.
It remains to be seen if the alleged Galaxy A82 will offer a rotating camera module just as the Galaxy A80 that was launched in 2019.
Previously, it has been reported that the Samsung Galaxy A82 may have both 5G and 4G variants, however, their availability will vary with regions. Also, the Galaxy A82 has been tipped to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor in the past.
