Samsung is all set to hold its Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event later today. The event will start at 7.30 pm IST.
The company is expected to launch its new mid-range smartphones — Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 — at the event.
Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 are successors of Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71, launched last year. The smartphones are priced at Rs 20,999 and Rs 27,999 respectively.

According to leaks and reports, Samsung is expected to announce both 4G and 5G variants of Galaxy A52. The smartphone has also appeared on the Google Play Console list confirming that the smartphone will support Google AR services.
In terms of specs, the Galaxy A52 is speculated to come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with an Infinity-O punch-hole that will house the single front-facing camera. A recent leak also suggests that Samsung might offer a 90Hz refresh rate panel as well.
Performance-wise, the Galaxy A52 is tipped to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with 6GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A52 is speculated to feature a quad-camera setup at the back comprising a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP depth sensor and another 5MP macro lens. A 32MP front camera is also likely to make its way to the smartphone.
In terms of software, the Galaxy A52 is expected to run on the company’s latest One UI 3.1 operating system based on Android 11.
Other likely features include IP67 water and dust resistance, fast charging support and more.
