samsung galaxy a50s: Samsung Galaxy A50s reportedly gets Single Take and Night Hyperlapse features – Times of India


Samsung has reportedly rolled out a new firmware update to the Galaxy A50s smartphone. According to a report by Tizenhelp, the update brings software version A507FNXXU5CUB3.
It also comes with an Android security patch for the month of January 2021. The update is available for users in India.
As per the report, the update brings a major changelog to the phone. This includes the availability of the Single Take feature to the device’s camera app. The feature allows users to click multiple images and videos simultaneously using the shutter button.
Another feature that the update brings is the Night Hyperlapse that allows one to shoot hyperlapse videos in low-light conditions. It also adds the My Filter feature using which one can save custom filters on the phone to use in other photos.
The update is said to be 219MB in size. It is available as an over the air (OTA) update. Those interested can check it manually via the following path- Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy A50s still runs on Android 10 based One UI. The latest update still does not upgrade it to the Android 11 operating system.
To recall, Galaxy A50s was launched in August 2019. It features a triple rear camera setup at the back. The camera system comprises a 48MP main sensor with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery and is powered by Exynos 9611 chipset.
