As Valentines day is around the corner, we drew cinematic parallels among iconic Bollywood movies, where we stumbled across these lively passionate souls who romanced in the hide-out.
Safeena and Murad – Gully Boy
Remember when Safeena (Alia Bhatt) cleverly escapes her mother’s sight to sit beside Murad (Ranveer Singh) in the bus, that’s when we realise their love story is an ode to our school crushes and teenage relationships. The couple surely knew to keep their romance under the carpets in public, just like most of us hid our relationships from our parents and teachers. Their secret meetings, the innocent lies to their parents, and holding hands secretly, we could relate to it all.
Zoya and Parma – Ishqzaade

Dhadak is an emotional ride where, two young and passionate individuals Madhukar (Ishaan Khatter) and Parthavi (Janhvi Kapoor) make safe haven of their own when they fall in love. Things take a turn when they face opposition from their families due to their differing social status. Torn between society and families, their fate becomes uncertain but their love stands strong.
