Former India opener Virender Sehwag on Monday tweeted a video giving his followers a sneak peek into batting great Sachin Tendulkar’s recovery procedure ahead of their next match against England Legends in the Road Safety World Series. In the video, Sachin can be sitting with team’s physio with a needle inserted in one of his elbows. Apart from Sehwag and Sachin, former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also featured in the video. In the video, Sehwag can be heard asking the physio and Sachin if he would be fit enough to play their next match. While the physio sounded optimistic, Sachin replied “Kosish to yahi rahi hai“.

The second season of the tournament, aimed at creating awareness about road safety, began on March 7, with a match between India Legends and West Indies Legends. Riding on Sehwag’s blistering half-century, India thrashed the West Indies by seven wickets in the opening match.
In their next match, India got the better of Sri Lanka Legends led by Tillakaratne Dilshan, beating them by five wickets with Irfan Pathan winning the Player of the Match for his all-round brilliance.

India humbled Bangladesh by 10 wickets in their third match with Sehwag once again doing the damage, hitting 80 off just 35 balls with the help of 10 fours and five maximums.
With an unbeaten run, the hosts are sitting comfortable on the top of the table with 12 points from three matches, while Sri Lanka are second with eight points from as many games.
