Redmi Note 10 series to launch on March 10 in India – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Earlier this month smartphone maker Xiaomi announced that it will launch its new Redmi series smartphone in March in India. The company confirmed that it will launch the Redmi Note 10 series in India in March. Now, the company has announced the official launch date for the series.
Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain took to Twitter to announce that the Redmi Note 10 series will launch on March 10 in the country. Jain tweeted, “Public address loudspeaker #RedmiNote10 series is all set for it’s 𝙂𝙇𝙊𝘽𝘼𝙇 𝘿𝙀𝘽𝙐𝙏 on Keycap digit four. Keycap digit three. Keycap digit twoKeycap digit one. The countdown has begun for the BEST mid-premium phone launch of the year! Get ready for the #10on10. Rocket 4+3+2+1: Add the numbers of the date & tell me the answer.Raising hands”

A recent report by Gizmo China also revealed that the Redmi Note 10 series will launch on March 10. The publication spotted a leaked Amazon listing which revealed the launch date. The leak also suggests that the company will launch four smartphones — Redmi Note 10 4G, Redmi Note 10 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G.
As per rumours, the Redmi Note 10 series is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is said to be backed by a 5050mAh battery. It is expected that the Redmi Note 10 will come in two variants 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is said to come in three variants — 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB.
Recently, Xiaomi started rolling out Android 11 update for its Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro smartphones in India. The update comes with build number 12.1.1.0 RJDINXM and it weighs 2.8GB in size. The update also brings the security patch for the month of January. With Android 11 update, the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro users will be able to experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
