realme: Realme announces Camera Innovation event for March 2 – Times of India


Smartphone brand Realme has announced a camera event where it will showcase the 108MP camera technology. The event will be organised on March 2. Interestingly, Realme’s event date is two days ahead of Redmi Note 10 series global launch on March 4.
Announcing the event via a Twitter post, the company said “The next breakthrough in photography is here, show some Red heart if you’re ready to take your photography experience to the next level”.

The event will be telecast on the company’s YouTube channel. It will also be livestream on Realme’s other social media platforms- Facebook and Twitter.
This will be the second edition of Realme’s Camera Innovation event. The first one was organised in August 2019 to showcase 64MP camera technology. Realme X was the company’s first phone to come with a 64MP camera sensor.
Recently, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth CEO teased the launch of Realme 8. He shared an image of what appears to be a quad-camera module of a smartphone on Twitter. The image read 108, suggesting that one of the smartphones under Realme 8 may come with the 108MP camera sensor.
Realme 8 series is likely to compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 10 series which is also confirmed to come with a 108MP camera.
