Realme GT 5G with Snapdragon 888 to be announced on March 4 – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme has confirmed that its upcoming flagship device codenamed ‘Race’ will be launched as Realme GT. The company has also confirmed that it will launch the smartphone globally on March 4.
In an official statement the company said, “Realme GT is based on our ‘Dare to Leap’ spirit and is an indication of what realme has in place for its users this year. Realme GT represents our philosophy of forefront of innovation, design and product value, which is something that young people can resonate with.”
The smartphone maker has also confirmed that the upcoming flagship Realme GT will be powered by a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The Realme GT is based on the concept of GT sports cars and is designed to deliver high-speed performance. Recently, the smartphone also received TENAA certification. As per the certification listing, the Realme GT is said to come with a single punch-hole AMOLED display with high refresh rate.
The smartphone is also expected to come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Realme GT is said to pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device is said to run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own realme UI 2.0. Realme GT is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor.
