Realme 8: Realme teases device launch with 108MP camera, could be Realme 8 – Times of India


Smartphone brand Realme has teased the launch of a device with a 108MP camera in India. The company’s CEO Madhav Sheth has launched a teaser of the upcoming device on the microblogging site Twitter.
Although it does not reveal the name of the device, the #InfiniteLeapWith8 in the tweet suggests that the device could be the Realme 8 smartphone series. “Do you guys know what 108 stands for?,” Sheth writes in the post.
The tweet also has an image of what appears to be a quad-camera module of a smartphone. It reads 108. It is likely that one of the Realme 8 series phones could come with a 108MP camera at the back.

In the tweet, Sheth says that the company will share more details about the upcoming launch tomorrow i.e. February 26.

The teaser comes a day after the company announced its Realme Narzo 30 series. Realme has launched Realme Narzo 30A and Realme Narzo 30 Pro in India with a starting price of Rs 8,999. The duo come powered by MediaTek chipset and feature a 6.5-inch display.
While the Realme Narzo 30 Pro comes with a triple camera system at the back, Realme Narzo 30A has 13MP dual rear cameras. The smartphones will go on sale in the first week of March via Flipkart e-commerce platform.
