Meanwhile, Ranveer and Deepika’s much-awaited film ’83 is finally releasing on June 4 in theatres. The film chronicles the Indian cricket team’s first World Cup win under the captaincy of Kapil Dev in 1983 when they defeated the West Indies in the final to win the championship. It will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The film was earlier slated to release last year in April but due to the pandemic, the makers had the postpone it.
