Rana Daggubati on his lockdown wedding: The whole thing felt extremely personal and nice – Times of India


Handsome hunk Rana Daggubati is one among the few pan-Indian heroes, who has crafted a niche for himself with sheer dedication and handwork. He was also one of the stars to have a lockdown wedding. He tied his knot with Miheeka Bajaj on Auguts 8 in a traditional Telugu ceremony in Hyderabad. In an exclusive chat with Filmfare, when asked about the changes he had to make for the wedding, he said it was the best time to get married as the whole thing felt extremely personal and nice, but also acknowledged not being able to invite a lot of people.

He also added that his parents were extremely happy with the pandemic wedding, and the fact that he was getting married was enough motivation for them. When asked about how his married life been treating him, he gladly shared having a feeling of being balanced, settled and also acknowledged that the bond one shares is a great source of calm as well as energy. “It’s great. It’s fun, I’m definitely enjoying myself” said Rana.

On the work front, Rana is occupied with ‘Virata Parvam’ in which he would be essaying the role of Naxalite commander Ravanna. Helmed by Venu Udugula of ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’ fame, the intense action saga features an ensemble star cast consisting of Sai Pallavi, Nivetha Pethuraj, Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Rahul Ramakrishna, Eswari Rao and Sai Chand.
