Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has taken the first preventive step against Covid-19 by taking the first shot of vaccine. The actor-cum-filmmaker shared a picture on social media, announcing that he has taken the first shot of Covishield vaccine on Thursday. Cheerfully smiling and giving a thumbs-up to the camera, Rakesh Roshan wrote, “Fist dose of Covishield taken, go ahead.”

The ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ director also revealed that March it was a unique date to get vaccinated. “Verified Unique day once in our lifetime 4321, 4th March 21 to get vaccinated GO AHEAD.” In October last year, Rakesh Roshan’s wife Pinky had tested positive for Covid-19 and soon recovered.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for Rakesh Roshan’s next directorial venture ‘Krrish 4’. He had previously said that the film is in the scripting stage and that work will begin on ‘Krrish 4’ only once the coronavirus situation eases. While Hrithik Roshan will return as the lead in this superhero drama, his leading lady is yet to be finalized.
