Rajkummar Rao is one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood, but it has not been an easy journey reaching the peak of success. He has often spoken about being replaced in films during his initial journey in Bollywood. Recently Rajkummar Rao opened up about being thrown out of films and expressed how he moves on from the incident. Rajkummar Rao told a news portal that he is doesn’t keep anything in his heart and moves on. The ‘Stree’ actor also expressed that he is a chilled out person and that maybe the project was not in his destiny.

Recently, Rajkummar Rao announced the wrap of his next film titled ‘Badhaai Do’, wherein he is paired opposite Bhumi Pednekar. The film features Rajkummar in the role of a cop by the name of Shardul Thakur while Bhumi essays the character of a PT teacher by the name of Sumi. The film is a slice-of-a-life drama and is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni.

Rajkummar has also signed up the Hindi remake of Telugu cop thriller ‘HIT’, which stands for Homicide Intervention Team. The Hindi version will be directed by Sailesh Kolanu, who had also helmed the original Telugu film. ‘HIT’ narrates the story of a police officer who is on the trail of a missing woman. Speaking about the venture, Rajkummar Rao told Mumbai Mirror, “When I saw ‘HIT’, I instantly connected with it. It’s an engaging story, relevant in today’s environment. As an actor, I am always on the look out to play characters I haven’t explored and ‘HIT’ gives me a chance to do that. I’m looking forward to take this journey with Sailesh and (producer) Dil Raju.”
