Rajiv Kapoor passes away at 58 – Times of India ►


Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor’s younger brother Rajiv Kapoor passed away on Tuesday, February 9. Rajiv Kapoor was 58 years old. He suffered a massive cardiac arrest, following which Randhir Kapoor rushed him to Inlaks Hospital, which was the closest medical facility near their residence in Chembur. The doctors declared him dead on arrival.

When contacted Randhir confirmed the sad and shocking news, saying, “I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him.” He added, “I am at the hospital, waiting for his body.” Rajiv Kapoor is known for his performance in ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ (1985) and ‘Ek Jaan Hain Hum’ (1983). He was also the director of ‘Prem Granth’, which starred Rishi Kapoor in the lead. Neetu Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor’s sister-in-law had expressed condolences on Instagram.
