Film producer Ramesh Taurani tested positive for the novel coronavirus and shared a post on Instagram, urging all those who have interacted with him recently to undergo a test. He wrote, “I have tested positive for COVID and have been following all the precautions and taking medications to get better. If you have interacted with me in the past 2 weeks please do get tested.”

The ‘Race 3’ producer also revealed that he had tested positive for Covid-19, after having taken his first dose of vaccine. Ramesh Taurani added, “I have taken my 1st vaccine dose and hope to recover from this soon. Please wear a mask and stay safe!” Recently, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan had tested positive for Covid-19.

Several Bollywood celebrities have been taking the vaccination. This week, Salman Khan also took the first dose and had shared the information on social media. Sanjay Dutt had also taken the first jab of the Covid-19 vaccine and posted on Twitter, “Received my first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine today at the BKC vaccine centre. I want to congratulate Dr Dhere and his entire team for doing such a wonderful job! I have so much love & respect for them and their hard work. Jai Hind.”
