The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested the peddler who allegedly provided drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput. ANI quoted Sameer Wankhede of the Narcotics Control Bureau and shared, “Three persons including one person who was providing drugs to Bollywood actor late Sushant Singh Rajput have been arrested by NCB in Goa.”

Previously, an NCB office had revealed that officers from the investigating agency were conducting raids at a few locations in Goa and that huge amount of drugs had been recovered and some drug peddlers. It was also reported that the peddlers and the drugs were taken into custody. “We have arrested one Maharaj Shah from Miramar in Panaji and two foreign nationals as part of our raids,” an official was quoted by IANS.

The NCB has been probing the drug abuse angle post Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14, 2020. The ED reportedly handed over chats that mentioned drugs to the NCB, post which the matter is being investigated. Previously, the NCB had arrested Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakrabroty in the matter but she was let out on bail after a month.
