Panasonic launches LUMIX BGH1 mirrorless camera at Rs 1,94,900 – Times of India
Panasonic has expanded its flagship LUMIX mirrorless camera series in India. The company has launched LUMIX BGH1 camera with 10.2MP Live MOS sensor.
The newly launched camera can be purchased at Rs 1,94,990 from Panasonic brand shops across the country. It will also be available at Panasonic 4K Imaging School.
Panasonic LUMIX BGH1 comes with IP remote control system. It is said to be equipped with deep learning real-time detection technology to provide precision focusing of subjects. The camera comes with a double SD Card slot for backup recording or relay recording.
The camera has Power over Ethernet+, which means that it can be powered with the same cable that connects it to a network. The company says that up to 12 of these cables can be controlled at once with the accompanying LUMIX Tether for Multicam app.
It is equipped with a 10.2MP Live MOS sensor with dual native ISO technology and the Venus Engine. The camera allows a maximum ISO 51200 high sensitivity recording and can be used for 4:2:0 10-bit C4K/4K 60p / 50p internal video recording.
The camera records video with a designated gamma curve compatible with ITU-R BT.2100, and also has a low-bit-rate recording mode C4K/4K HEVC/H.265 for HLG.
For connectivity, the device comes with a USB 3.1 Type-C, a 3G-SDI and an HDMI Type-A port. Genlock IN and Timecode IN/OUT functions are also available. It offers wireless connectivity over Bluetooth 4.2 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
Bundled accessories with the camera include a cable lock band, an AC adapter and AC cable remote camera control using apps- LUMIX Tether for Multicam and LUMIX Sync.
