Oppo F15 starts receiving Android 11 update – Times of India
NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Oppo has started rolling out Android 11 update for its smartphones. The latest smartphone to join this list is the Oppo F15.
The company launched the Oppo F15 in January last year with Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the-box and this is the second major software update of the smartphone.
The Android 11 update for Oppo F15 comes with firmware version CPH2001_11_F.10. The new software update brings camera stabilisation, performance and stability updates, improved charging speed and new UI skin from Oppo.
With this update, the Oppo F15 users will also be able to experience Android 11 features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
Oppo F15 specifications
Oppo F15 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ display with a 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The device packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.
The Oppo F15 sports a quad-camera setup which consists of a 48MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and 2MP mono lens with f/2.4 aperture. There’s also a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 30W VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
