oneplus9e: OnePlus 9 Lite could launched as OnePlus 9e; tipped to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC – Times of India

There has been a buzz around a toned-down version of the OnePlus 9 smartphone — referred to as OnePlus 9 Lite — expected to be launched in March along with the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. But since the last couple of weeks, new names of the least powerful and therefore most affordable handset of the upcoming OnePlus 9 series have surfaced online.
Some tipsters have referred to it as the OnePlus 9R while as per the latest leak, it may be called OnePlus 9e as well.
A report by Techmaniacs has revealed what it claims to be the specs of the alleged OnePlus 9e.
As per the report, the OnePlus 9e is expected to bear a model number LE2113. The device is said to house a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution.
The handset is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC and should be available in 8GB RAM and 128GB model. More storage models of the handset are also expected.
For imaging duties, the OnePlus 9e is said to offer a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It is likely to be backed by a 5000mAh battery.
Previous rumours about the OnePlus 9 Lite had claimed that it is going to be powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC, which is the same processor that powers the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones launched last year.
As mentioned, rumours have suggested that the launch of the OnePlus 9 series is expected to happen in March, but so far the company has remained tight-lipped.
