OnePlus resumes Android 11 for OnePlus Nord, fixes bugs – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Last week it was reported that OnePlus has pulled back the Android 11 update for its mid-range smartphone — OnePlus Nord. The company took this decision after some users reported problems with the smartphone after installing the Android 11 update.
Now, it appears that the company has resolved the issue and has started rolling out a fresh update for all the OnePlus Nord users. OnePlus is now rolling out a hotfix for all its Nord users those who have installed Android 11 and those who don’t.
The new update comes with firmware version 11.1.1.1 and its changelog is also almost the same like that of the Android 11 update.
As per the changelog of the new update, the company has optimised the power consumption to increase the battery life and it has also fixed the known issues and improved system stability.

Ambient Display
Newly added Insight clock style, a joint creation with Parsons School of Design. It will change according to the phone usage data (Go to: Settings – Customization – Clock on ambient display)
Newly added the Canvas always-on display, which can extract the subject’s outline from any photo and display it on your lock screen (Go to: Settings – Customization – Wallpaper – Canvas – Choose photo preview and it can be generated automatically)
Dark Mode
Added the shortcut key for Dark Mode, pull down the quick setting to enable.
Now automatically turns on feature & customize time range. (Go to: Settings – Display – Dark Mode – Turn on automatically – Automatically enable from sunset to sunrise / Custom time range)
Brand new shelf UI
Newly added a weather widget with smarter animation effect
Gallery
Newly added the Story feature, which can automatically create the weekly stories by using your local photos and videos
Optimized the loading speed to improve the image preview experience
