Netgear launches RAX20 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router at Rs 18,999 – Times of India


Netgear has launched a new Wi-Fi router in India called the Netgear 4-Stream Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Router RAX20. Netgear RAX20 comes with dual-band support for both 2.4GHz / 5GHz bands. It features Wi-Fi 6 technology and the latest security protocol “WPA3”.
It is priced at Rs 18,999 and will be available via both online and offline stores across the country. As an introductory offer, the router is selling at Rs 11,699 for a limited time on the company’s official website.
The device is equipped with a quad-core CPU which the company says can transfer gigabits of data with almost zero CPU load. With Wi-Fi 6 technology, it is said to offer wireless speeds up to 1.8Gbps. Wi-Fi 6 makes use of OFDMA to improve the capacity and efficiency of the wireless network.
The new WiFi router features five gigabit ports—1 WAN and 4 LAN ports. It offers automatic firmware updates. It can work with existing WiFi devices – compatible with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and earlier generation WiFi standards.
The device works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It comes with a WPA3 WiFi security protocol and has a USB 3.0 port for faster streaming.
