Talking to a news portal, Neetu reportedly said that she had gathered the courage to work after Rishi passed away in 2020. The actress told herself that work would help her get over my grief. According to her, it was the only way to get on with life.
The actress got on board for Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. However, she contracted COVID on the set when she started shooting. Speaking about beating the virus at 60 and bouncing back, Neetu added that many others on the set of ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ got infected. But Neetu was feeling terribly guilty, so she came back, self-quarantined and after testing negative, in around 10 days, the veteran actress resumed work. According to her, everyone was young and said that Neetu auntie would need time to recover, but she made it.
Spilling the beans on how she overcame the pandemic, Neetu reportedly said that it actually worked in her favour because her family was with her for more than six months. Everybody was spoiling her silly.
