Mumbai Saga box office collection day 3: John-Emraan’s gangster drama rakes in over Rs 3.50 crore – Times of India
‘Mumbai Saga’ recorded a growth of around 50 per cent and the film collected over Rs 3.50 crore nett mark, which makes it the highest single day collection, post Covid 19. The film recorded a good response in single screen theatres and also performed well in mass centers across the country. Mumbai circuit has reportedly contributed over Rs 1 crore nett to the film’s collection. With this massive jump in collections on Sunday, ‘Mumbai Saga’ is expected to hold well on the weekdays, however Covid-19 restrictions may also affect the collection. According to the report, the first week box office collection of ‘Mumbai Saga’ is close to Rs 9 crore nett, which is not good but considering the pandemic restrictions, it puts the film in a good space.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, ‘Mumbai Saga’ is set in the 80s and 90s and narrates the story of a clash between John Abraham’s gangster character while Emraan Hashmi plays the cop. The film also features Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Rohit Roy, Mahesh Manjrekar, Prateik Babbar, Amole Gupte and Gulshan Grover in pivotal roles.
