Moto G100 with Snapdragon 870 processor, 12GB RAM launched globally – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Lenovo owned-Motorola has launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone globally. The company has launched Moto G100 which is the global version of the Motorola Edge S smartphone launched in China last year.
The Moto G100 comes with a full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and runs Android 11 operating system.
The Moto G100 comes in Iridescent Ocean and Iridescent Sky colour options. The smartphone is priced at 499.99 euros and the smartphone will roll out in Europe, UK and Latin America. The smartphone will also include the Ready for dock and a connector cable.
The Ready for dock holds the smartphone in portrait or landscape mode. It comes with a flexible hinge design and an integrated fan which keep things cool. The Ready For dock will work with Moto G100 and Motorola Edge+.
Moto G100 specifications
Moto G100 comes with a 6.7-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2520 pixel resolution. The display offers a 21:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM.
Moto G100 comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card. The dual SIM smartphone runs Android 11 operating system.
Moto G100 comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Google Assistant button. The smartphone also comes with P2i coating which makes it splash-resistant.
Coming to the camera, Moto G100 sports a triple-rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 16MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a dual selfie camera with 16MP main sensor and 8MP secondary camera.
Moto G100 is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 20W turbo charging support.
