Moto Edge+ price slashed by Rs 10,000 in India – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Lenovo-owned Motorola launched its flagship smartphone — Moto Edge+ in India in May last year. Now, the company has slashed the price of the smartphone by Rs 10,000.
The company launched the Moto Edge+ smartphone at Rs 74,999 in India. Now, the customers can purchase the handset at Rs 64,999.

To recall, Moto Edge+ was the first smartphone of the company to come with a 108MP camera.

Moto Edge+ specifications
Moto Edge+ is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 256GB of internal storage.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display is made scratch-resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Moto Edge+ runs Android 10 operating system and the smartphone will also receive Android 11 and 12 updates.
Talking about its USP — the camera. Moto Edge+ sports a triple-camera setup with a 108MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, Laser autofocus, 16MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, macro mode, 8MP telephoto camera. In the front users will get a 25MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. The company claims that the smartphone is capable of 6K video recording.
The smartphone comes with stereo speakers tuned by Waves which promises to offer 60% louder audio. Moto Edge+ comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging support. The smartphone also supports reverse wireless charging.
The smartphone also comes with an IP52 rating which makes the device water repellent.
