Microsoft Viva: Microsoft announces Viva, a new Microsoft 365 platform – Times of India
Microsoft has announced a new platform within Microsoft 365 called Viva, which it claims will help companies change the employee experience. The company says that it has created Viva to help combat pain points like meeting fatigue and a lack of balance between work and life.
As per Microsoft, Viva, through its tools, helps employees by letting them be at their best while working with hybrid and remote teams. The platform offers the following tools:
Viva Connections: It is the gateway to the employee experience, personalised to the organisation to provide a curated, branded hub for news, conversations and resources.
Viva Insights: It is meant to help organisations improve work-life balance and manage employee wellbeing by identifying personalised and actionable insights for individuals, managers and leaders.
Viva Learning: It provides a central hub where employees can discover, share, assign and learn from content libraries across an organisation, helping expedite the onboarding process, among other things.
Viva Topics: Microsoft claims that Viva Topics will helpreduce wasted time spent searching for already-existing information by utilising AI to automatically organise content across systems and teams into related topics like projects, products or customers to make information more easily discoverable. This feature is available from today.
