Manoj Bajpayee has tested positive for Covid-19 and his team confirmed that the actor is currently in quarantine at home. Manoj Bajpayee had been shooting for an OTT movie and the film’s shoot was halted.

In a statement, his team confirmed, “Manoj Bajpayee has tested Covid positive after his director was infected with it. The shoot has stopped and will resume in couple of months. Manoj Bajpayee is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions.” The ‘Satya’ actor was shooting for ‘Despatch’, which is being directed by ‘Titli’ fame director Kanu Behl. It is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and will be shot in London, Delhi and Mumbai.

Manoj Bajpayee has made a smooth transition to OTT and speaking about digital platforms the actor had told BT in an interview, “My focus has always been on the performance and not the format. When I was doing theatre, I was working on my performance, the same holds true for television, short films as well as OTT shows. I know that my job is to act; the medium is no concern of mine.”
